Thumb Nail Advice
Post Body

Have resisted posting but I need some sound advice.

Age: 22 Sex: Male Height: 6’0 Weight: 215 Race: White Duration: 6 months Location: Colorado, Thumb Existing Medical Conditions: Type One Diabetic Current Meds: Lantus, Fiasp

I work in sales and feel a lot of pressure occasionally which causes me to bite my nails. I have been getting better, but 6 months ago I bit my thumb nail down to my cuticle and now it looks like a separate nail is growing to the right of the main nail, idk really what is going on but I have felt a little bit of nerve damage in my thumb compared to my right thumb, so I figured it was time to reach out and get some advice on what to do. I have included a link below to what my thumb looks like. I have been told by co-workers to go to a nail salon, but because of the nerve sensitivity I have experienced I wanted to get some professional advice. Thanks to anyone who can help me out!
