Recently the neurologist thinks I have ocular (visual migraines), and gave me Trokendi XR as a low dose to start off. Before that, I've had issues to figure out what was going on.The pressure started I think the beginning of last year, or the mid of last year. I would have this pressure around my head and behind my eyes and sometimes near my nose. I would have a hard time sleeping on my stomach because I would feel pressure behind my eyes, so I would sleep on my back. Now I have a hard time sleeping on my back because I would then feel pressure around my head and it feel like it's straining my eyes (I guess pressure). I then had to sleep in a recliner chair and it helps me to sleep since my head is sitting in an upright position. I also then feel pressure around my head and behind my eyes when I bend over or when I sometimes sit in a chair. I would also see auras when I get up from lying down or sometimes when I bend over. I recently now get headaches here and there, but not a lot.

I went to 2 eye doctors (before the pressure started to feel worse), only one said I had dry eyes. I went to an ENT doctor and they thought I had sinuses or silent migraines. I had got a ct scan done (without the dye) and didn't see anything, so they referred me to the neurologist. I went to the neurologist and told them how I felt. They thought I had intracranial pressure because I said I felt pressure around my head and behind my eyes. I had got an mri done (with dye) and spinal tap done. After I got the spinal tap done I was able to sleep in my bed for a few days but I still felt somewhat pain on one side of my face near my nose and my eye, but it didn't felt pressured. I then got the results back and they said everything looked fine and that they think I have migraines. But the thing is, why when they got some of the spinal fluid, I felt a little better, I was able to sleep in my bed. The doctor wasn't sure why. Does this sound like migraines?
