Why do I not get physically addicted to smoking?
Post Body

If this type of question doesn't belong here pelase let me know I couldn't find a sub that fitted better.

I'm a 21 yo white male from europe length: 185 Weight: 110 kg (I know I'm fat I'm already working on it) Place: I dunno, entire body Time: at least since 14 I smoke on and off use weed and drink alcohol

So I have never had any issues with quiting smoking except for the fact that I mentally missed the feeling.

I have this cycle where in order to stop myself from smoking 2 packs a day again I stop the moment I reach 1 pack per week. This hiatus is always a few weeks to a few months before I pick it up again and the use starts increasing. (I tried fully stopping before but it always led to me starting again within a week so this seems a decent middle way)

Not once during this period have I had a sympton that quiters have when stopping cold turkey. No less sleep, no increased stress, no shakiness, nothing. Just the want to smoke.

I'm wondering why this is?
