Pleurisy?
Post Body

Basic info: Male, 32 years old, 6'3, 196lb, no medical history although blood pressure has been elevated for the past month, only medication taken is Concerta 36mg.

About a month ago, after just getting over the flu a day or so prior, I started experiencing what felt like a racing heart with any amount of physical exertion, lightheadedness and chest pain. At the ER an EKG, Chest Xray and CT scan were done. All was clear except for two small nodules on my left lung, which the doctors didn't seem to think were an issue. I have been treating this feeling as pleurisy- a few days after my first trip to the ER the shortness of breath began- and have been taking NSAIDS as instructed. A month later, the shortness of breath is mostly gone, but elevated heart rate, muscle aches and soreness to the left of my Adams Apple persist. Since the doctors have ruled out a heart issue, I am at a loss as to what this is. Any input is appreciated.
