A little bit of history: Had some chest pains, about 4 years go. Went to the doc, asked a bunch of questions, he didn't feel it was heard related, but still sent me to a cardiologist. An EKG revealed a fluke, had me get a doppler echo done. That reveled nothing Had a stress test done, nothing revealed.
Because of the chest pains, he did refer me to a gastro-interologist. Those tests revealed nothing as well.
I still had chest pain (rather discomfort) for times over the past 4 years, but it was few and far between.
This past few weeks, I ended up jumping on a sled, and for a few days afterwards I felt fine. But a few days ago, I started to feel pain in my ribs, only a specific spot, where if I pressed down, it turn, or got into a weird position.
I started to feel a little under the weather too, a little sluggish, some minor dizziness, so at my wife's insistence, I went to immediate care. When they first heard chest pain, they took me back and did an EKG. After the doc read the results, he said it looked fine. But a cardiologist would be reviewing at well. After being x-rayed, the doc said it was most likely a contusion, buising of muscles around my ribs, as I had an exceeding boring xray (a good thing). No heart enlargement, no pneumonia. He looked in my ears and said the small dizziness could be to some fluid buildup in my ears, and with some post nasal drip I had, it could be coming down w/ a cold.
Yesterday I get a call from intimidate care, and the nurse tells me the xray looks good, but there was an issue with the EKG. I looked on the results, and said that I had a poor r wave progression, and a left axis deviation.
What does this mean?
