Hello. I have been suffering shoulder pain in my left side for about a year. I weight train 5 days a week & I think some kind of overhead press may of caused it. I went to see a physiotherapist who examined me & didn't really say what the pain was from. She gave me some band exercises to do such as wood chop which I think were to strengthen the rotator cuff muscles? They so far do not appear to have helped in fact my shoulder is feeling a little worse at the moment. I also are hypermobile & are at risk of osteoarthritis.
I feel the worse pain when waking & my arm feels a little weak. Once I move my arm a little the pain dramatically reduces. I also feel the pain when I externally rotate my arm. I also feel pain down the back of my tricep area. The pain in the shoulder is at the side but to the back of my shoulder. Also when I do any kind of stretch It feels great at that moment but the pain comes back. Any idea what this could be? Thanks.
