I woke up at around 4 or 5 after 5 or 6 hours of sleep. After worrying over my drippy nose for a while I began thinking about an ask reddit post about doctors who had had patients correctly diagnose themselves, and one of those was someone with spinal fluid coming out of their nose. On the post he did say that most people will have spinal fluid come out during a regular bloody nose at least once. That last bit sounds dubious to me, but is a bit reassuring, hence why I ask if I need to be worried.

Whatever it is is slimy to the touch, and has no discernable taste. (It isn't salty).
