Getting a "scratching" or "pinching" feeling in the back of my throat at random intervals for past year almost
Post Body

In late February I got very sick and towards the tail end of it was a very raspy cough that I could not shake, for about two weeks. In the middle of those weeks I was in a very heated verbal argument and was coughing like a mad man, but still having to defend myself verbally. Shortly after that I started getting this feeling like about to cough or something wanting to come out of your throat. It's slightly painful, and it makes my eyes well up every time it happens, which is about 2-3 times an hour. If I drink liquid it goes away for or less on the spot. If i tough it out it lasts around 30-60 seconds. Not sure what liquid has to do with it, as drinking doesn't actually prevent it from happeneing. I could just get done drinking my body weight in water and 10 seconds later it'll happen, and one gulp later it's gone. Its getting to the point where its getting hard to sleep and to be frank, driving me a little nuts. The internet said it could be heartburn/acid reflux related. I took the strongest otc chalky liquid I could find, no dice. I tried post nasal drip nose spray, also nothing. It hasn't ever gotten any better or worse no matter what I do. I am in the U.S with zero health insurance. So, while this is annoying, it doesn't seem life threatning hence why I'm hoping someone here can give me some insight. Thanks in advance. Not sure if it helps but I'm 29, male. 5'8 148 lbs. Smoke, no. Drink, yes.
