Greetings Reddit,

I write this on behalf of my mother (early 60's). She has through the last 5-10 years been struggling with cracks, or whatever to call them, on her fingers - Especially on the right hand. They hurt a lot, and even though she of course still can use her hand, these cracks aren't helping. She has been at our local doctor here in Denmark and the like a number of times, and tried various lotions, creams and even wearing gloves at different times.

All of this still hasn't helped, and both doctors and various Google searches over the years haven't really revealed what it exactly is or what that can be done. I therefore hope some of you lovely peopl may have an idea of what approach one should take.
