Hello. I'm a 26F. 5'7 and 110lbs. I take extended release and immediate release Seroquel and I also take lamortigine. I experience mental illness, but I don't have any long term physical illnesses. I do experience postural tachycardia when I go from sitting/lying to standing.
I've had issues with headaches/migraines since I was a pre-teen. I experience headaches almost everyday. I've brought this up with multiple GPs and at the hospital over the years. My pain has never been investigated.
I woke up with a headache yesterday morning. By 7pm, it had turned into a full blown migraine. This is pretty normal for me, so I didn't think much of it. The entire left side of my face was throbbing, I could feel intense pressure behind my left eye, I could feel pain in my jaw and temple, I felt nauseous, dizzy, and it was an 8/10 pain wise. I was so ill, I went to bed. I kept waking up throughout the night from the pain. My heart rate was a little elevated, but I didn't think much of it.
This morning at 7am, I woke up even worse. The pain has become a 10/10. I've taken four paracetamol today, and my symptoms haven't improved at all. I still have pain in my jaw, behind my eye, in my temples and all across the left side of my face. I have the full body shakes. My vision is blurred. I'm sensitive to light, sound and odours. I've lost my appetite. I feel hot and feverish. I almost feel kind of "floaty". And all through the night yesterday and all day today, my heart has been beating strongly and painfully in my chest, even though I haven't left my bed today.
I experience headaches all the time, but I would say this is one of the worst headaches I've ever had. I'm supposed to travel for 6 hours on a bus tomorrow, but I'm worried I'm going to feel ill.
Any advice?
