Need help with Gelastic epilepsy
Post Body

Gender: Female Age:19 History of epilepsy: Was on treatment 7 years ago (3.5 years of treatment) Currently on meds: No

Idk if this is useful information, but she was on her periods too...

I witnessed my girlfriend have her epileptic episode where she started laughing uncontrollably. This happened twice before according to her. And obviously she was scared and was crying at the same time. I was consoling her the all along. It was so hard and painful for me to watch. I just have a question.

Can I do anything from my side, during these seizures, to help her calm down and get to normal quicker?

Please let me know... It would really help us a lot.

Thank you🙏
