He’s 48, male, non smoker, no known medical issues.

So as the title says, my boyfriend accidentally drank my suboxone spit cup after I finished taking them.

The dose was originally 16mgs of suboxone and 4mg of nalaxone. I took the medication as prescribed and afterwards spit it into a cup, my boyfriend drank it thinking it was coffee(don’t ask me why or wtf he was thinking/doing)

We’re on a trip to Italy and immediately went to the hospital after he said he was feeling dizzy and tired. We tried to explain to the hospital what happened but due to the language barrier they weren’t able to help. I don’t think they understood what was happening.

After 7 hours at the hospital with no feedback on what to do and them doing nothing, they discharged him with no follow up advice.

It’s been about 8 hours since he drank the medication spit-water.

I’m not sure what to do, his symptoms have subsided besides the puking. Please help me out, if needed I’ll take him back to the hospital, but I don’t know how to get them to understand.

I’m afraid he will fall asleep and never wake up. I don’t have any nalaxone with me.
