Lidocaine on a wound. Bad idea?
Post Body

m21 male 180lb, no smoking, no medical issues so far, rhe injury happened 2 days ago

So basically i got something like an ingrown nail but it mostly happened after an injury that pushed an angled side of the nail into the flesh.

The angled side is a result of bad nail cutting. It is on the big toe.

I got an avocaine 10% lidocaine spray.

I just want to apply Lidocaine to be able cut the affected side of the nail but deeper all the way to where it grows, wash it and sterlize it. Then apply gauze.

So little blood came out initially. Can Lidocaine get into my blood stream or cause some problem from somehow contacting the exposed flesh under the nail?
