Waves of red face and slightly increased temperature
Post Body

38F, 168cm, 65kg, white, don't smoke / drink / drugs, live in Denmark.

Diagnoses: Persistent post-concussive symptoms, POTS and chronic migraines with aura

Medicine: Lamotrigine (500mg) and Ivabradine (10mg) as well as diverse supplements.

For several months I've been experiencing a red and heated face that comes in waves throughout the day. Sometimes my temperature will be normal, but sometimes it will be up around 37.5. I don't experience it every day, and it comes in bursts (ie. for a few days, then it's gone, then comes back a week or two later). I'm also significantly more tired than usual.

I have POTS which was triggered by my first round of corona, and made significantly worse after a concussion two years ago. I also have a very rare type of migraine, which is hemiplegic migraines without headache. A year and a half ago (5 months after the concussion) I had a hemiplegic migraine, and the aura symptoms didn't go away, they continued to come in waves about every two hours. I take Lamotrigine and now I "only" get numbness in my left cheek. But my brain is clearly still stuck in whatever cycle it's been stuck in for a while. All of these things mean that I'm tired (but not as exhausted as I am now), especially cognitively.

The waves of facial redness don't seem to be connected to the waves of aura. This red face thing started over a year after the first migraine, and long after the POTS symptoms started. But I thought it important to mention :)

TL;DR: I'm experiencing waves of facial redness and heat on and off, as well as increased fatigue, and am looking for ideas as to what could be causing it.
