Mechanical Mitral Valve on Warfarin for 20 years
Post Body

March 2022, my mom had a mild stroke, acute septic shock, pneumonia, UTI, multiple gallstones and kidney stones.

Due to age, 75 y.o. then, the doctors decided not to perform surgery, so since then she's living with the illness. November 2023, everytime she's taking anything by mouth she's having discomfort in her stomach, she vomiting and feels like there's something bulging inside, and everytime she's experiencing that she drinking a cup of Mountain Dew to relieve the feeling.

April 2024, she had blood in her urine for five days so the doctor told us to stop warfarin indefinitely, and it puzzled me.

May 2024, there's heaviness and pain on right limb especially the shinbone part. Occasional heaviness of the temple. The doctor gave her Tranaxemic Acid 500mg 2x a day for 6 days.

Right now, the medication that she's taking everyday are: 1/2 Aldactone Sodium Bicarbonate 650mg 2 tabs every meal Potassium Chloride 650mg once a day Tramadol with Paracetamol once a day Benadryl 50mg once a day Spirulina once a day

Is there a chance of long survival without having blood clots?

I hope you enlighten me.
