What can a doctor realistically do about possible hearing damage?
Post Body

27F, So a couple weeks ago, I had some 5th graders scream directly into my ear. That night, I found traces of blood in my ear, it hurt for days, my head would unwillingly lean to the side, I couldn't even gently tug at my earlobe without pain. It was like my hearing was dulled yet extra sensitive at the same time.

Its mostly better now, but certain loud sounds at certain frequencies will make it hurt again, sometimes with the head tilt.

What could a doctor realistically do about this aside from maybe give pain killers and to "avoid loud sounds"? (which I can't, I'm a teacher) Thank you!!
