Hi. So I take antidepressants and an antipsychotic drug for anxiety (saying just in case).
I think something is up with my sleep. I go to sleep around 8-9 PM and wake up around 4-5 am.
The problem is, I wake up in different stages of tiredness/drowsiness and on better days it takes me about two or three hours to get it together (that is, wake up).
I tried bringing this up while at my psychiatrist's, but they responded "You're getting 8 hours of sleep, so you should be fine". Like, I obviously trust her and the medicine she prescribes me really helps, but I was wondering whether there actually is something wrong with my sleep?
Today was one of the more difficult days. I was sleepy in the first half until I took bupropion at noon. Then I had a nap around 3 PM. Coffee has a limited effect.
Can someone give me any tips? I know my antidepressants can make me sleepy, but the sleepiness varies each day, sometimes I feel perfectly normal.
Thanks!
