Yesterday, my father shot and killed himself.
Today, I went in for an already scheduled appointment for bloodwork. Maybe I should have waited- I don’t know, I think I’m still on autopilot?
My labs look crazy compared to the last several times I had blood drawn- liver values high, cholesterol high, WBC very low. B12 is high.
I’m 39F, vegetarian, and currently trying to get pregnant, so I’ve been doing everything I can to take care of my body. Not drinking, no drugs, doing my best with sleep and staying active, recently lost about 20 lbs due to lifestyle changes.
Can a traumatic event cause bloodwork to be erratic?

I wonder if the weight loss affected your liver a bit (not a doctor) https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0002916523236047#:~:text=During a dietary-induced weight, but it is probably benign.
