URGENT. Ovarian cyst/ possible ureaplasma re infection
Post Body

23, female, mental health issues Currently taking seroquel, depakote, Buspar, doxycycline, morphine.

Last week I went to the hospital bc I was having uti like symptoms. They ran urine and yeast/bc and sti testing and everything came back negative. I was then told I have a 2cm cyst on my ovary via ultrasound.

I went back to the ER on Sunday, same symptoms (burning while urinating, pain on my side and In my urethra). My cyst (on my ovary) 5.2cm and all other cultures came back negative for infection (urine and swabs). But I do have urethritis.

Today I went back to the ER. I was running a fever, pain is now spread to my hip, back and down my leg, still burning while urinating, hard to pass a bowel movement, nausea. My cyst has grown to 5.6cm. My urine came back clean and std swabs were clean along with bc and yeast. The doctor put me on morphine because my pain is getting so bad. I can’t even lay comfortably to sleep. (My ct also came back clean just have the ovary cyst) I should also mention my period is late because of this cyst.

My question is.. if I go to an OBGYN what are the chances that I can have them remove the cyst, since it’s causing me so much pain. Or can I convince them to? (The dr at the er felt bad because they don’t have a gyno/ the tools to take it out).

And also with the urethritis, I had ureaplasma before, could it be that I have become reinfected with it ? It felt similar to what I was feeling before.
