Eye changes after concussion

I'm not sure this is the right forum to be asking, but thought I'd give it a shot.

I got a concussion last year. Apart from the normal convergence insufficiency, sensitivity to light, etc, I noticed that my contact lenses weren't fitting properly in my left eye. I have astigmatism only in that eye, before it CYL -1.75, but after getting it tested a few months after the concussion, it was -2.75 (axis 10).

The issue is that I can't find any contact lenses that fit my left eye properly (we're using CYL-2.5 as apparently dailies aren't available in -2.75). They slide around and I can't get them to stay in one place. I've tried at least 7 brands so far, and none are working. My optometrist has basically given up at this point.

Is there anything I can do differently? Something I should be aware of regarding how the lenses fit that we could change?

On a side note, I'm interested in whether or not a concussion can cause this. But I mostly would just really like to not have to wear glasses anymore.
