I am 22f about 5’9 200lbs. So I live in the woods and was walking to my truck at night and stepped on something. It went through my shoe. It seems to have been the bone of an armadillo. I pulled it out of my shoe and didn’t realize it had cut the back of my foot until much later. I cleaned out the wound which was a shallow cut but now I’m curious. Could I technically get rabies from something like this? If it was like a spinal bone or if there was any tissue left on the bone? I live in Alabama if that matters.
