to my knowledge there is still no HPV testing for men available...
I'm now 49 in a relationship, I only had a couple of sexual partners (who only had a couple of partners at the time).
I guess I could benefit from the protection of a HPV vaccine at least for some variants ... and my partner too (if we were to open our relationship) Am I wrong ?
But in France I can't get vaccinated nor get a prescription : I bought the vaccine ("for my daughter" full price) but nurses and doctors refuse to inject me...(I guess for legal/insurance reason).
French guidelines (Vidal at least) say vaccination is for women before 19 and bi/gay male less than 26 which seem very restrictive compared to US or Belgium where it is for all 45yo... and I don't know about older people.
What should I do with my shot? self inject after watching a YouTube video ?
