My boyfriend (22m) fainted, hit his head, and went unconscious.
Post Body

Today, my boyfriend fainted, fell, and hit his head. I ran to him and tried to shake him awake while yelling his name for several seconds before he came to. The whole time his eyes were open and his pupils were big. After he woke up, he vomited.

Before anyone asked, yes, 911 was called. He insisted it was fine and was back to normal pretty soon after vomiting, so we called the ā€œnurse on callā€ service his insurance has to ask what we should do. They advised us to call 911 so we did. Honestly though, I donā€™t feel confident that the responders did a thorough job. They took his blood pressure, pulse ox and felt around his head for a bump, thatā€™s it. It felt like a really underwhelming response given the circumstances.

Heā€™s 22, healthy, on no medications, and wasnā€™t under the influence when this happened.

Am I right to be concerned? Are there any things we should be watching for? It was just really scary.
