How soon does my wife need to see the cardiologist?
Post Body

My wife is 60F, 5'6" 145lbs (167cm, 66kg) caucasian. She exercises every day and only taking daly atorvastatin (Lipitor) for elevated cholesterol, and tramadol PRN for arthritis. She had a checkup on Friday and the doctor noted an skipped heart beat when listening to her chest. She hooked my wife up to an ECG and we saw irregular VPCs every 4-8 beats. The doctor didn't seem to worried but recommended that my wife see a cardiologist for an echocardiogram and further workup. We are supposed to go on vacation in a few weeks but are now wondering if we should postpone until after she sees the cardiologist and gets a diagnosis/treatment
