On Sunday I felt out of breath since I got up in the morning, with my heart rate constantly >100, which in the afternoon got better.
I then decided to take a 30 min walk (2.46km/1.5mi), and when I got home, I again felt out of breath and like someone was sitting on my chest (breathing in felt harder), which got a bit better over the course of the evening. (On Saturday I walked the 8.34km/5.2mi to my mom's workplace without problems.) I also had a fever with a maximum temperature of about 38.2°C/100,7°F in the evening.
I went to sleep at around 11pm I think, and woke up at 12:30am out of breath and had to sit upright to feel better. According to my pulse oxymeter I had a heart rate of around 115 bpm and a blood oxygen saturation of 91-93% (when I measured before during the day my saturation was 99%; I don’t wear nail polish and my fingers didn't feel cold). I stayed awake for about an hour and then went back to sleep. I didn't feel worse when I walked to the toilet.
When I got up at around 5:50am I felt way better than in the night or the day before. I went to a doctor in the morning, he listened to my lung and said they sounded clear, and gave me a note (for work) to stay home for the weak. I walked the same path today as I did on Sunday with no issues.
Now I already went to a doctor and I don't feel out of breath anymore, but I'm still curious what that was, since I've had colds before but never felt this out of breath.
I also took a Covid test on Friday and on Sunday, both were negative.
I hope I expressed myself clearly. Thanks for reading this :)
