F26 , non smoker(only two times I believe ,years ago), weight is 200-250 I believe. I am overweight. My height is 5’4 or 5’5 . I don’t have any known medical conditions other than anxiety and etc. They (gp) called me in to the office when my results came. The first time I went my normal family doc was on vacay so a different doc told me the results. She said could be cirrhosis of the liver but then when I called back when my normal family doctor was in.. she said no the scan showed inflammation in the colon area.. so now I’m confused. Anyways she asked me a few specific questions about blood in stool, belly pain and which side, etc and then sent a referral to a gastroenterologist for a colonoscopy I believe. It is happening this month. Anyways, what could it mean? I am so confused. Does it sound like colon cancer? Also why did the first gp say cirrhosis and mention my liver?
