Two days ago I stubbed my pinky and believe I may have sprained or broken it. Within 12 hours the inside base of my pinky turned purple with swelling throughout my toe. The toe looks in place and identical in placement to my other pinky toe. Also I have broken this toe before. Since then the purple has subsided to more of a dark red with some purple still around the base. The pain is manageable and hasn’t changed but today I’ve noticed some discoloration in my foot surrounding that toe and want to make sure this is just a normal part of the healing process before wasting a bunch of money rushing to the ER
