3 weeks ago I started to loose my voice with it getting hoarse and hard to speak, however I had no cold or flu symptoms at all. After 1 week of not getting better I went to a pharmacy that did a swab test that came back positive for strep throat. Prescribed me anti biotic, anti biotic mouth wash and pain meds. After finishing my anti biotic prescription my throat started to look better(less red spots) but my voice is getting worse and worse by the day. Yesterday I went to 2 walk in clinics which basically both told me the same thing, “you were given very effective anti biotics your cured your voice will return one day have a good day”. Well it’s getting worse and not recovering at all so I need some help with this as it’s heavily affecting my ability to communicate especially at work. Tips to make it better does strep usually make you struggle talking for this long?
