Hand pain lasting a year. Not tendonitis or Rhumetoid arthritis
Post Body

29 Male 5'10 185lbs.

So a year ago while typing on my laptop I developed pain on both hands simultaneously. When I initially noticed the pain I called it a night and took a break from typing.

I wrote down the symptoms as at the time:

May 2nd: pain in both hands while typing during work. After i got home I would get shooting pains from palm to digits. Decided to take a break from typing

May 3rd: tenderness and pain of both wrists. Some pain on the outside of right palm at times. Reduced pain by end of day compared to may 2nd

May 4th: smaller pain in digits at times. None or rare palm pain. Reduced pain in general but it is still present.

Slowly the pain started to lessen but definitely not at a point where I thought it was just tendonitis.
I got bloodwork done and saw a specialist and they confirmed I have no rhumetoid arthritis of any kind.

A year later I'm still stumped as to what happened. My hands are still not at 100% but it's definitely a lot better than when things first started.

I've gone from not being able to hold my phone without shooting pain the next day to being able to ride my motorcycle with little to no pain if I take breaks.

Any input would he greatly appreciated, thanks!
