I am a 26F. Yesterday I noticed that my left jaw was sore and tender, as if I had kept it open for an hour straight. The right side is fine.
If I press along the jawline it feels sort of numb? I can't tell if the lymph node there is swollen, maybe slightly. I do have a tooth with a deep cavity on that side of the mouth. As far as I can see there is no infection and the tooth itself isn't painful. All the pain is in the jaw.
I feel the soreness when I'm chewing- particularly something like gum. If my mouth is at rest, it's barely there.
