diarrhea problems
Post Body

26M, 5 ft 10, 255, nonsmoker, nondrinker, no medications at this time.

Hey not sure if this is the right place for this, but thought I'd try. So I got my gallbladder removed in 2020. I was told that the diarrhea would go away within a couple months. It didn't obviously. I've told my dicitors and they don't really cate it seems. If I try to eat regularly I take 4 to 5 poops that are about 90% diarrhea. The problem is that I'm on the toilet for hours at a time, usually minimum of 45 minutes upwards of 2.5 or 3 hours. This has really made it hard to love a normal life as I'm terrified of shiuting myself in public. The diarrhea normally comes on super quick too, so not much warning. I start work tomorrow and am uncertain of how to manage it properly. Imodium does help, but I need to take like minimum of 4 to make it through a normal day and just hope that I can make it home before I have to go. Anyways not sure if taking that much imodium is okay. I have to take 1 before I have a meal and one after in order to not poop immediately. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
