Hey. So a few weeks ago I started coming down with an overall feeling of fatigue in my body; a little weary and almost a little cold. And my chest (bronchi) started feeling aches but nothing else. Then one day my symptoms began to include sneezing, sore throat, extreme fatigue, nasal congestion, and chest congestion. Took antibiotics from doc in case. 10 days ago most of the symptoms went away except the fatigue. I only feel it lightly for a few minutes here and there out of the day but yesterday I resumed normal physical activity by going to my intensive martial arts class. Today the fatigue is just there and not leaving but otherwise no symptoms. My doctor said it’s normal for folks to sometimes have a hangover of fatigue after having an adenovirus (I definitely didn’t have covid or the flu tests determined). How common is lingering fatigue after having an adenovirus; what is the time frame for it to go away and is it ok to mostly resume normal physical activity and work around it? About me: male, 37, otherwise very fit and active when not sick. Had covid twice last two years (which wasn’t nearly as bad) but otherwise haven’t gotten sick last few years. Advice and info appreciated. Thank you!
