So, I’ve browsed reddit to see if anyone had anything similar but didn’t find much. I’m a 23 year old male. I’m getting blood work and other test done next week to check my thyroid, check for celiac disease, and for irritable and inflammatory bowel syndrome due to having constant issues with both dairy and bread, and my stool for the past couple months has either been constipation or diarrhea, the normal poops are now rarer for me then the constipation and diarrhea.
Today, I took a short walk lasting only ten minutes to the gas station in front of my neighborhood, and had an intense cramp or pain in my lower stomach. I’ve heard of this while running or doing extensive exercise, but rarely with a walk. I weighed 126 pounds last week during my doctor visit, and it usually ranges between 125-128, but my scale at home today reads 118lbs. I’ve also have a blood pressure reading last week of 142/92 on my vitals report which I’ve read is either stage 1 or 2 hypertension (which my doctor neglected to fully inform me about or even care for seemingly), and I’ve had a heart palpitation or arrhythmia develop when I never had issues with it before. I’m concerned that a cavity I neglected might be a culprit for that, which does concern me about heart disease. My appointment for a filling isn’t until march 13th.
My stomach doesn’t hurt now but does feel slightly tight and uncomfortable.
Does anyone have some ideas of what this may be, I want to have a good idea of possible candidates for what’s causing this before they test me next week, and if anyone thinks I should try and get the appointment earlier. I was told to wait a week because I need to get gluten back into my system before they do the test for celiac, but I’m not convinced that one is the culprit as it seems it’s only the bread that hurts my stomach and not other snacks containing gluten in them. Bread and milk specifically have been causing me a lot of issues.
I also find that my body doesn’t handle alcohol of any amount without stomach and/or right side pain, as I have tested this by drinking just 1 hard cider every two months, only to have full stomach and sometimes side pain until I wake up the day AFTER-the-day-after I drink (2 days) before going back to normal.
My diet is mainly deli meat and cheese sandwiches, yogurt, and now a banana trying to lower my blood pressure. That’s what I eat for every meal.
