20F hello I’ve had a sinus cold for about a month now just slight throat pain, stuffy nose, and my ears would feel kinda pressurized on and off. Well a week ago my right ear filled up I guess, I basically just cannot hear anything out of it. I can hear a little bit but very very muffled and when I talk it echoes so I can’t hear even more. My left ear is completely fine.

I went to the doctor to possibly drain out ear wax and he looked inside and said ir was fine, gave me ear drops, antibiotics, and a nasal spray. Said it should be better in two days, it’s been four and it hasn’t really gotten much better. My nose and throat are fine now but ear still cannot hear. I’m just worried because I’m going on a plane in 10 days 😖 I really don’t wanna get an ear infection or anything jing.

Should I keep taking the antibiotics and ear drops an hole for the best? Or go visit the doctor once more, or another doctor specializing in ear nose throat ?
