Hi! I have been going through the process of donating a kidney for a year now. Losing weight has been the biggest hurdle thus far but I just completed the final round of testing including iohexol test. Unfortunately my result came back as 82 I needed at least a 90 to donate. My urine gfr is 93. I did lose 22lbs pretty rapidly over a week period with the help of Mounjaro and plan to continue that to lose more weight. My coordinator said that another 26lbs would/should help. I would like to know if there is anything else I should be doing? I hydrate as much as possible, walk almost every day but plan to start going to the gym regularly and I eat pretty healthy but really focused most of my intake on protein. I am switching to more of a vegetarian heavy diet. Can anyone suggest anything else?? TY
