This isn’t a huge problem (I don’t think?) but it seems very random and something I can’t find any info about on the internet so figured I’d ask.
I work a normal 9-5 in an office, and have AirPods in during the day to chat in meetings, and listen to music when I’m just working silently. I keep only one in and switch the ear halfway through the day to not overuse one AirPod/hurt one ear. Sometimes (seemingly randomly) my ear will get a sharp pain that then travels thru my neck and down into my chest. It’s extremely painful, and only has ever happened when listening to music (I don’t go above half volume). I remove the AirPod and it goes away within 1-2 minutes every time. This happens maybe once every 2-3 weeks. I don’t notice any other patterns.
I’m a 23 year old in relatively good health. No medications, no heart/ear problems that I am diagnosed is. Any ideas what this is? If it was just my ear I’d assume I’m listening to music too loudly but the traveling pain down to my chest is what confuses me.
