Full MRI Missed shoulder issues (23M)
Post Body

Hello, I have been experiencing multiple shoulder dislocations for the last 4 years.

I had it happen again on New Year’s Day and went to the doctor. They told me I should see an orthopedic surgeon and would probably need a full MRI and surgery.

However, I was in the hospital in February of last year due to a manic episode and had a full MRI done when they were trying to diagnose me. I feel like maybe they should have caught my shoulder issues in this MRI?

I don’t want to make any assumptions, just want to know if there is a case for malpractice because I have been suffering from this for years and it would have been nice if they’d caught it a year ago.

I assume they could have already known it was psychological issues and were not looking anywhere else other than my brain.

Thanks all.
