Our contractors plumber installed a free-standing tub filler in our new bathroom and the water pressure is shit. Not even enough flow to kick on the tankless heater so there's only hot water if you also run a sink on hot. I believe it's because of how they installed it. The filler lines go out at right angles and they used these metal straps to sure them up and make the turn, but crimped them pretty badly. Plumber says it's not the issue and said we may have to get a different tub filler. That this was was made or off-grade and we're on a slab, and they'd hav to bust concrete. Who's right here? The contractor picked the filler so I shouldn't have to pay extra for them to replace it or for them to bust concrete to install it correctly.
Side note, it's also very wobbly. Contractor said it's normal but it feels like it could just snap off.
