How difficult is it to learn machine learning if you have a math/physics background?
Post Body

Hi everyone! I'm currently a computational climate scientist, and the majority of my work is numerical modeling. My research team and I are planning to use machine learning to tackle some climate problems in the future.

I was just curious what background do I need to learn ML? I think I have a decent math skills, but my programming is only numerical modeling. Is there anything else I need to fill the gap to learn ML?
