Canadian in Chicago for the first and possibly last time. What should I do?
Post Body

Hello Chicago! I am a Canadian who is going to be visiting your fine city for the first time ever in the next month or so. I don't expect to be given another opportunity in my lifetime. Assuming this is my one and only trip, and I only have 2 or 3 hours a night, every night during the week, what are the things I should focus my time on?
I'll be staying near "Elk Grove Village". Beyond that, I know very little about the things to do.
Thank you all in advance for your suggestions.

Update: Ok so its pretty clear that "Chicago" proper is too far for my nightly goals. I'm not sure if I get 1 weekend yet or if I come home.
I appreciate all the suggestions. When I ask in my home town what people think when they think of Chicago, I get the same two answers: Black Hawks and Deep Dish Pizza... Oddly, no one mentioned "Chicago Deep Dish Pizza" so I wonder if that's just BS?
Answer to the question "what do you like to do?" is pretty open. I like a lot of things, and I'm willing to try nearly anything once. I've already established more than a few stops from the suggestions below. Thank you all!

Best comedy club in that area is going to be the Improv at Woodfield mall. Quite a few big names come through there.
