I'm leaving for my home in less than a month, and this is my first visit back home ever since I got here. Home- India.

I want to take some gifts from my friends and family, but I just can't decide onto anything substantial. I don't want to take T-shirts or Hoodies with 'CANADA' written in big & bold.

I want to take something that they would actually enjoy and cherish. Maple syrup is one of them, but I'm looking for something special, like Canadian Club Whisky is something I saw. That's nice. It doesn't have to be necessarily expensive. I live in North Vancouver, so there's a lot of Persian stuff, and I plan to buy Persian tea for a friend.

Just some suggestions like this would be great, something personal and thoughtful instead of just duty free bought chocolates.
