Hey /r/askBattlestations! I need your advice!
Post Body

Intro:

I'm moving to a new apartment. I have no furniture for my battlestation. My day job is software development, side gig is electronics design. Have a desktop and a laptop which I will give specs on below. Will need to get an oscilloscope in the near future, and maybe a multimeter. My apartment is in Manhattan, so space is limited.

Problem:

I've been looking for office furniture. I need space for 2 monitors, my laptop stand, instrumentation, and a workspace for soldering and tinkering. I'm not sure if a keyboard pullout thing is necessary, but I feel like it would be useful to have one. I feel like the best choice would be to get two very basic desks that can be put together in an L shape, and maybe one of them can have a keyboard thing. I would like them to be very minimalist and sleek looking.

Use cases:

-coding

-gaming

-electronics design (software)

-electronics assembly and testing

-watching media/listening to music

-music production

Equipment and Specs:

I'm not at home right now and can't find my newegg orders so I'm missing some info.

Items to get:

laptop stand: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834996172&cm_re=laptop_stand-_-34-996-172-_-Product something like this
