I have the same setup at home and work both using Dell docks to connect my MacBook Pro to two monitors (details below). When I move from work to home, the left and right monitors swap positions, and often windows and desktops are rearranged. I have tried the screen arrangement in settings, and physically swapping the cables, but the dock seems to be smarter than that and know which monitor is which and corrects. Any ideas how I could swap home/office so they are consistent?
Details: MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, four thunderbolt 3 ports). Home: Dell WD19TBS:, one monitor via thunderbold to DisplayPort, the other via usb-c to DisplayPort. Office: WD22TB; both monitors connected via thunderbolt to DisplayPort.
