Shallow dual monitor mount with swappable positions

Post Body

Hi everybody.

I've spent a good while googling around and haven't managed to find a good solution, so I'm hoping that somebody can recommend something for me.

I am starting a new work from home job where, for reasons I won't get into, I am not allowed to use any monitor that isn't provided by their IT department.

The problem I have is that my desk is currently set up for my gaming laptop and external monitor, and I obviously still want my good monitor in primary position for when I'm using my laptop outside of work.

My layout is with my laptop to my right, and my external monitor directly in front of my chair.

What I'm trying to find is a monitor mount that will allow me to easily swap which monitor is in that primary position, so when I'm working I can have my work monitor directly in front of me, and at the end of the day I can swap them to put my good one in front of me.

The big problem I have is that my desk is very shallow, front to back.

A mount like this https://amzn.eu/d/d0D019N would enable me to easily swap which monitor is on which side, but would also take up too much depth and result in my monitors being too far from the wall, too close to me.

Something like https://amzn.eu/d/htGF9xD would be shallow enough, but wouldn't enable me to easily swap the monitor positions.

Does anybody know of any mount that would both enable swapping of monitor positions, but also only have a shallow footprint?

Thanks.
