Balkan peoples: who's the merriest, who's the saddest?

To me, Serbians and Greeks are the ones who take mostly life with a grain of salt and are rather on the bright side. Romanians are in-between, bitter-sweet, with a lot of humour but also complaining a lot. Bulgarians feel a lot depressed (not all of them, but A LOT of them). I can't make up my mind about the others. Hungarians, if considered as "honorary Balkaners" are by far the most pessimists and negative.
