Browned Butter for Cookies

Post Body

Hello everyone, I read on r/baking that some people use browned butter for their cookies for flavour. I really want to try this but I am unsure when to weigh the butter. Let's say the recipes says I need 100g of butter. Do I weigh the butter before browning or after? I am sorry if this is a stupid question, but wouldn't the butter lose water while browning and therefore be lighter?

Thanks! :)
