Frosting Question

Hi! I made these cookies today 6/25, Betty cooker cake mix- cookies with cream cheese frosting from scratch to give to my family and friends but they have not come to get them yet. They will most likely get them tomorrow. My question is .. should I refrigerate them because of the cream cheese frosting , or would that make the cookies too moist? Or should I crape off the cream cheese frosting and frost them again the next day?
