I made some strawberry jam cookies and while they turned out pretty good, I think they could have even more strawberry flavor. I have a few ideas, so I want to get your thoughts on which will add the most strawberry flavor and what other adjustments I might need to make to compensate (e.g., for texture).

(I'm doing the vegan version as stated in the recipe. The milk will be soy milk. I also skipped the glaze cause the cookies were already tasty with just the jam on top and I didn't want to make them any sweeter or messier.)
My ideas
- Roll the cookie dough in freeze dried strawberry powder instead of granulated sugar. I'm guessing this will make the cookies a little less sweet but that's fine cause they are already almost too sweet. I'm also not sure if the strawberry powder will have the same effect of helping the cookies not stick.
- Replace the 1 tsp vanilla extract with 1 tsp strawberry extract (I have McCormick so it's all natural flavors).
- Add strawberry syrup to the milk (e.g., https://bakingmischief.com/homemade-strawberry-milk-for-one/ ). I think I might need to reduce sugar in the dough to account for the sugar in this syrup?
- Swap out the butter for strawberry butter (e.g., https://www.frieddandelions.com/strawberry-compound-butter/ ). I'm concerned about what this will do to the texture - I already had the cookies spread a lot the first time I made them, probably because I used softened butter instead of room temperature butter
