Managed to mess up cake mix cookies

Post Body

I'm following this recipe: https://www.iheartnaptime.net/cake-mix-cookies/#recipe

After pouring the melted butter in I went on autopilot, filling the butter bowl with a bit of water to rinse it out but dumped it in with the cake mix and started mixing without realizing what I'd done until too late. It couldn't have been more than 1/4 a cup of water but obviously I have no way of measuring for sure

Should I just try and go ahead with the cookies anyway? Or can I add my own dry ingredients to even it out?
