Cookie Monster baking time

I found a Cookie Monster recipe that I wanted to make. Each cookie is 5oz. Im having trouble figuring the baking time. On the recipe it says to bake at 350 for 16 min. I did but the cookie was a little hard on the bottom and a little wet still inside. Should I bake it for longer and should I change the temper ? Thxxx
